Let's party like it's 2013

Since I haven't blogged in a million years, and I never take pictures, and it is now 2013, I'll give you all a quick update, good deal?

2012 looked something like this (hopefully in chronological order):

  • We skied
  • Michael played some basketball (gotta love BYU Intramurals)
  • Then he sprained his ankle so both of those were out of the question... (trying to get ski boots on with a sprained ankle, no fun)
  • Took a quick trip to San Diego for a wedding
  • Michael graduated from BYU!
  • Michael started his internship at Zion's Bancorp
  • We moved out of Utah County forever!
  • Alie took a little trip to Europe (A little too long for Michael)
  • Alie spent my summer days poolside at the Florence's
  • Alie got a job at Nordstroms
  • Left Nordstroms and got a new job at Enterprise Rent-a-Car
  • Alie graduated from UVU!
  • We did a little designing for our new house, and put some money down!
  • We waited and waited and waited for our house to be built
  • Michael started his MBA at the U of U
  • Alie started working 60 hour weeks
  • We walked through our house at every stage of the building, mostly every day
  • We had some problems with our Ford (no surprises) and long story short we sued Ford to get our money back... (what a mess...)
  • We closed on our house and moved in!!! best christmas present ever
  • Bottom Line: We lived. We learned. We loved. We conquered.
2013 is looking exciting so far:
  • Michael decided that he would rather work fulltime then go to school fulltime, so he transfered to Westminster to get his MBA.
  • I recently found out that I have another hip surgery in store, so I'm applying for some new jobs in Enterprise that'll get me off my feet
  • One day soon we are going to have a party so everyone can come see our new house, we our just waiting on some furniture
  • And most importantly, we teach the 4 year-olds at church. Doesn't get much better than that :)
Come stop by our new house??? We are dying for some visitors, as long as you are OK with sitting on the floor :)
